Andrea and Josh’s Epic Engagement Photos

As we share this blog, I feel like I must give a disclaimer so here goes: We rarely shoot engagement sessions, however, Andrea and Josh’s engagement session has to be one of the most EPIC engagement sessions EVER! With that being said, this engagement session was a little different because Alexandra and Andrea have known each other since before grade school where they attended La Petite Academy together in Morristown, Tennessee. Another fun fact – Not only did they grow up together, but Alexandra has been spotted getting a fresh cut from Andrea at Indigo Beauty Salon from time to time. Talk about some lifelong friends! Needless to say, we not only wanted to help our pals out but we wanted to blow them out of the water with some killer engagement portraits. And that we did. Blood Moon Over the Atlanta Skyline – Behind the Image

What an awesome image of the Blood Moon over Atlanta, huh? Well, maybe I should apologize for what you’re about to see. The image of the skyline is our image from a few month ago, the moon is a stock image that I added the red tint to, and the rest is history. Unfortunately, it was rainy and extremely overcast in Atlanta last night, and there wasn’t even the slightest bit of the eclipse visible from the city. Snow, snow, and more snow!

Holy crap! Global warming is gonna kill us all! Somebody please tag Al Gore in these images of Tommy, Holly, and Moses that we were able to take during our Midwest excursion. In case you have missed our million posts about it, we packed up and headed to Kansas for a little over a month. Tommy was crazy enough to drive all the way to Atlanta, pick us up, and travel down to Louisiana before winding up in Kansas. While in Louisiana, the three of us had a few sessions in the beautiful 70 degree weather. Then, we stopped in every city along the way for Tommy to take portraits of us as we passed through. Since Tommy did such an amazing job on our portraits, we wanted to photograph the Peterson clan as well. Luckily enough, they were able to get a “light dusting” of snow to play in for their family portraits. When I tell you that their photos turned out SICK!!… I really mean we all ended up sick from being outside! haha. Photos: How to Dress to Impress. Urban Fashion in Atlanta, GA.

Take some style points from our man, KJ. UPDATE: Check out the Part 2 of Kennedy’s session – What is in Your Closet? Before our trip across the Midwest, we had the opportunity of working with one of Atlanta’s best dressed men. Not only is Kennedy a sharp dresser, but he is also a great mentor for the children at RCA. RCA, or Ron Clark Academy, is a private middle school located in Atlanta and is filled with like-minded professionals who are very passionate about what they do. After talking with Kennedy for a bit, we could tell that his passion as a teacher, educator, and a role model went above and beyond. So, not only can you check out Kennedy’s awesome wardrobe for styling tips, but he’s a great inspiration to follow your dreams, also. P.S. Epic View of Atlanta Skyline at Night

What an epic view of the Atlanta skyline! This post is a bit different than our normal posts, however this shot of the Atlanta skyline was just too cool not to share! This location, on Jackson Street near Freedom Parkway, is very easily accessible to grab a quick shot of the city. Also, this view happens to be one of the most famous locations for AMC’s “The Walking Dead“. Now, the production for The Walking Dead may have use a tad bit of post production in their image, but the angle of the skyline and the apartments on the left are still identifiable, nonetheless.
