75 Iconic Senior Portraits ft Sadie Johnston of Morristown Hamblen High School East

Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present senior portraits of Morristown Hamblen High School East’s, Sadie Johnston, Class of 2021. In November of 2020, we had the chance to photograph these portraits of Sadie on a beautiful day, beginning at one of our favorite gardens and concluding downtown. Over the years, we have photographed Sadie multiple times – twice for dance, once for prom, once as a model for Allie Fa Vintage, and we even photographed her brother’s senior portraits. Having a tight relationship with Sadie and her mom, Traci, made the session even easier since everyone involved was comfortable with the process. (As if photographing someone as talented as Sadie isn’t easy enough as it is…) Sadie is a skilled dancer, so honestly, the hardest part of photographing Sadie is trying to top the photographs from the last session! Now, we don’t want to toot our own horn, but we pulled out of a lot of new techniques that we all agree made Sadie’s Senior Portrait Session a major success! Congrats on your senior year, Sadie! We appreciate you and your family for continuously choosing Lenz to be your photographers! Enjoy 75 Iconic Senior Portraits ft. Sadie Johnston […]

Last blog, we brought you my sister Jessica’s maternity session. This time, we’re bringing you my other sister, Katie, and her family – The Chandlers. Dustin, Dusty, and Robin have been training Taekwondo since 2016. Dustin received his blackbelt June 19, 2020. Dusty and Robin received their black belts on October 24, 2020. A big part of the session was meant to commemorate Dustin, Dusty, and Robin’s recent achievements in Taekwondo, however, we also snagged a few Christmas themed family photos including Katie and Willow. Darryl Eubanks at the Hangar

Former college athlete and current WNBF Pro bodybuilder. I am a Strength Coach and Personal Trainer. However, beyond that, I am a believer in people. I am not only passionate about seeing people reach their physical goals, but also walking alongside people to break their mental barriers and self-made limitations. I have not always been passionate about fitness, but as sports injuries have changed my career focus, fitness has shown me that my limitations are self-made. That being said, I am adamant about giving that same mind set to others. Still Life Fitness is not only a name, instead it reflects that no matter what you have been through or dealt with in life thus far it is not the end. Our family here knows that as long as you STILL have LIFE we can make the rest of your life the best of your life. Darryl Eubanks II

76 Iconic Photos of Personal Trainer Darryl Eubanks II at The Hangar

Lenz Photography, LLC of Knoxville is proud to present personal trainer Daryl Eubanks II. We've known Darryl from all the way back to our days at Carson Newman University, where we were all music majors. Our first shoot of Daryl was when he played football for the Eagles back in 2012. Nowadays, Daryl is still involved with football, but his main focus is personal training and competing in fitness competitions. Daryl currently trains at The Hangar in Chattanooga, and we must say that it's one of the coolest place to workout and to photograph on-location! The following excerpt comes from Darryl's official bio: Former college athlete and current WNBF Pro bodybuilder. I am a Strength Coach and Personal Trainer. However, beyond that, I am a believer in people. I am not only passionate about seeing people reach their physical goals, but also walking alongside people to break their mental barriers and self-made limitations. Our family here knows that as long as you STILL have LIFE we can make the rest of your life the best of your life. Darryl is truly an inspirational person and a humble guy that is easy to get along with. It's always a great time when we collaborate, and we look forward to many more shoots in the future! If you want to follow Darryl in his journey check the links below. Also, if your ever in the Chattanooga area make sure to check out The Hangar!

41 Iconic Senior Photos of Grainger Grizzlies Pitcher Jace Maxey

Lenz Photography, LLC of Knoxville is proud to present Grainger County High School 2020 Senior Athlete, Jace Maxey. Jace pitched for the Grainger Grizzlies Baseball team and was All District for the Blue Ridge Athletic Conference last year and 2nd Team All State. In the Fall, Jace will attend Walters State Community College where he will pitch for the Senators Baseball Team. Jace's senior session was a blast. We enjoyed including the entire family in a few shots, as well as Jace's baseball coach, Jace's car and Jason's Jeep. Grainger High School has an awesome view, so it's always enjoyable to shoot sessions there from beginning to end. We even concluded Jace's portrait session by including the grizzly bear in front of the school.

44 Iconic photos of Karns High School 2020 Senior Athlete Ethan Narro

Lenz Photography, LLC of Knoxville is proud to present Karns High School 2020 Senior Athlete, Ethan Narro. Ethan (17) is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and was the Captain of the Karns Wrestling Team. "From mat to mat nothing changes. The will to win always stays the same." Ethan's dad, Frank, left us with that quote, and we can confirm firsthand that Ethan is a hardworking, determined athlete. The Lenz' have both rolled with Ethan at Gracie Barra Knoxville several times over the last few years, so we've been able to see his progression. To put in modestly, Ethan is a scary matchup for anyone! Many of you know, that when you train a martial art like jiu jitsu, your rolling partners become your family. I'm not too proud to admit that I personally stepped in as a body for Ethan to perform some takedowns on during his set, and Alexandra photographed me getting dropped like a sack of potatoes! The Lenz' are proud to train with a great athlete such as Ethan, and even more thankful to have had the opportunity to create some Iconic Portraits in honor of his high school career. Even if we did almost get banned from the parking garage for taking professional photos, we're thankful that Monica, Frank, Adrianne, and Ethan all were able to join us. And we're also thankful to Joseph Watson, & Jonathon and Jenna Knight of Maryville Jiu Jitsu for allowing us to use the gym for Ethan's portraits.

39 Iconic Senior Portraits of Will Eriksson of Maryville High School

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents Will Eriksson of Maryville High School. When Will's mom, Paula Osborn, originally contacted us to inquire about booking a session we immediately knew we were perfect for each other! Paula told us that she had searched all over the internet for a sports photographer until she came across our website. A lot of our client's are referred via word of mouth, so the fact that Paula took the time out of her day to search sports photographers in the area told us that she was serious about getting high quality sports portraits. Furthermore, when we found out that Paula is the owner of ROOST - an interior design company based in Maryville with an impressive range of clientele and a passion for handmade craft - we were flattered to be working for such a well respected and talented local artist. Now, we can't forget to give a quick shout out to the star of the show, Maryville High School Senior Class of 2020, Will Eriksson. During the shoot, Will was extremely easy to work with. We decided that we thought Will looked like a young Mark Wahlberg, so it was almost impossible to take a bad photo of him. Even when the wind blew, it's like it was always blowing his hair in the right direction! Will has played baseball since he was 5 years old, and was the catcher for the Maryville High School Rebels Baseball Team. Will is currently planning on attending the University of Tennessee where he will study to become a pediatric dentist. This brings us to one of the most sentimental moments of our career since we began Lenz Photography back in 2011. At Lenz Photography, we market and brand ourselves as badass sports photographers. "You Are Iconic" has been the catchphrase we have used since 2014 to convey the feeling of the larger-than-life style we try to create while showcasing the athletes we photograph. We've NEVER tried to market by taking the "let us capture your memories forever" approach. Nothing against any photographers that do that, but it's just not our style. However, that doesn't mean that we can't do both, and Paula's testimonial on instagram is proof of that: "Sunday night I watched my son put on his baseball uniform for the last time to have these pictures taken. I sat on the metal bleachers and watched his traditional cadence of buckling on his shinguards, pulling over his chest protector and sliding his mask over his face.. I have watched him put on his catchers equipment soooo many times, but this time was very different...this time I was unexpectedly overcome with emotion. I tried to pull myself together as the photographers worked with him, but behind my sunglasses, crocodile tears streamed down my face. I have sat on bleachers and watched my son play baseball since he was 5. Truly, I was really looking forward to baseball season as much as he was.... one last season of cheering and enjoying watching him play the game that he loves . I know that all of you other parents of High School Seniors can relate to this. We were all looking forward to celebrating our children. With every click of the camera and flash of the bulbs, I slowly began to heal.... maybe in an unexpected way sitting on that bleacher was the therapy I needed. This circumstance is not what any of us envisioned, and yes, it is hard. We have some great kids y’all, and I know that our kids will do amazing things in this world! I have always loved this quote which seems fitting for today... “Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you will ever know”. #seniors2020#wewillriseup #betterdaysarecoming#momofasenior2020 #mykid#seniorstrong" -@ROOSTHOME It's moments like this that really make us slow down and truly appreciate what we do. Luckily, we were able to get Will's session in before the quarantine was put into place, but on the other hand, it was bittersweet to get the news that no school sports would take place the entire month of April. Paula's post truly brought tears to our eyes. We focus on the technical details behind the camera and the many aspects of growing a small business, but without the amazing clients we have the opportunity of working with, we wouldn't have amazing portraits. We appreciate all the athletes that put in the hard work to achieve their goals. We appreciate all the parents that invest in their children. And we appreciate everyone who has supported us through the struggle of running a small business for nearly a decade. Our hearts go out to the Seniors of 2020. We are all in this together, and we hope that through this pandemic there is a silver lining for each and every one of you. Maybe it's a cheesy metaphor, but in baseball you want to be safe at home, anyway. The key is being safe and healthy. Let's all look out for each other and make it a point to hit hard and make up for time lost once this is all a part of the past. Enjoy 39 ICONIC SENIOR PORTRAITS OF WILL ERIKSSON OF MARYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL!
