2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball

A couple months ago, Lenz had the privilege of showcasing the 2022 Washburn Pirates Basketball team and Cheer squad. Last but not least, we bring you the 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams. Again, Lenz has photographed these group of Senior Athletes since their Freshman year. The experience has been amazing following these athletes throughout their high school sports journey while getting to know many of their families. Those friendships are special to us, so we wanted to go above and beyond for their final group of Senior Sports Portraits. This is the first time Lenz has shot green screen to composite an entire team. It was a lot of work but the results turned out very rewarding! The Washburn Pirates background was created by combining multiple images from scratch. The kids and families chose their favorite poses, and we worked our magic! Hopefully you all enjoy these Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Portraits as much as we do, because we are in love with the way they turned out! Lenz Photography is proud to present portraits of Emma; Our first full Iconic Senior Session from Washburn High School! A quick word about the Washburn community: It doesn’t come as a surprise to many of you all who are reading this post that our Washburn and Grainger clients hold a special place in our hearts. Truly, without them our business would have never been able to survive through these past few years. Even when the baseball and softball season was cut short in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, many parents still contacted us and purchased prints via FaceTime. (And if you’ve ever tried to get signal in Washburn, you already know what a feat that was to overcome!) The fact that 2022 is our 4th full year photographing sports portraits for Washburn High School means that we have photographed most of the Washburn graduating class since they were freshman. Every year photographing at Washburn has gotten better because the kids and parents know what to expect. Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present the 8U and 12U Storm Softball Teams. We had a blast photographing these talented group of young athletes! Thanks to Carrie and Phillip for contacting Lenz to create some Iconic team and individual portraits in the amazing Storm training facility in Morristown. Both groups of girls were easy to work with and took direction very well. We even got a behind the scenes look at the Storm’s training from coach Ashley Gibson! Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present portraits of Bulls Gap Lady Bulldogs multi-sport athlete, Brayley! Photographing Brayley’s many talents in the studio was a great experience. We’re also pretty sure that Brayley is one of the first athletes that we’ve photographed from Bulls Gap! Brayley played softball and basketball for the Bulls Gap Lady Bulldogs. As of now, she doesn’t think that she is going to play sports in high school in order to focus on other things. Therefore, these portraits are a celebration of Brayley’s sports career up until this point. Brayley is certainly a talented young lady, and we’re sure she has the skills to compete again in the future if she decides on doing so. Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville is excited to present experienced model & athlete Jayda Prater. Jayda may only be 8 years old, but you would swear she was twice her age based off her level of maturity while working on set. When it comes to modeling, Jayda is a natural at posing and finding the light. She also takes direction well, and we're sure the discipline of being an athlete helps create a great foundation for that. It isn't simply the fact that Jayda is great at modeling or that she is a dedicated athlete, but it's how well Jayda combines the two aspects together to create a fierce yet beautiful presence. 49 Iconic Photos ft the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams of Washburn High School! As mentioned in the previous post featuring the Grainger Grizzlies, this year's weather has been crazy! Either it has been too cold or too wet to photograph on the fields for photos during the month of March. So, whereas the Grainger Baseball & Softball teams had outdoor shots, we opted to photograph the Washburn Baseball & Softball portraits inside the gym. Needless to say, Plan B turned out to be Plan A+. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out! As a matter of fact, one of the players said that they "felt like they were in a Gatorade commercial" as they stepped on set in front of all the lights. We're glad the players had fun during the shoot, and even more glad the photos turned out amazing! It was an honor working with some of Grainger County's finest athletes! 68 Iconic Photos ft the Grainger Grizzlies Baseball & Softball Teams

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Grainger Grizzlies Baseball & Softball Teams of Grainger County High School! One thing that we can all agree on is that this year's weather has been crazy! We were lucky enough to coordinate with the coaches of Grainger to find a day that wasn't either too cold or too wet to shoot outside. We were successful in our approach to find a warm day, however the gale force winds that crept up during the shoot was a prefect example of Murphy's Law. Nothing a little extra editing couldn't fix! Thank you, parents of Grainger athletes, for your patience in our efforts to ensure all the prints and products are produced at the highest quality.
