Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 34 Iconic Portraits ft. Maryville High School Rebels Cheerleading, Class of 2025! The Experience Earlier his summer, we were contacted to photograph creative portraits of the Senior Athletes who play for the Maryville High School Rebels Football Team. After an amazing session with the Senior Football Players, we were also contacted to work with the Maryville Rebels Senior Cheerleaders. The Vision The Maryville Rebels Senior Cheerleaders have a small squad with only 4 Seniors set to graduate as the Class of 2025. On average, we photograph teams as large as 20-30 athletes. Sometimes we even photograph multiple teams in one day. Needless to say, we were excited to photograph these 4 Maryville Cheerleaders, because time management wouldn’t be as much of an issue with a small group. The Final Product The Maryville Rebels Senior Cheerleaders brought their A game! Similar to the Maryville High School Football Portraits, we photographed these Senior Athletes on the field from evening into the night. Senior Banners Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Portraits of the 2023-2024 Washburn High School Pirates Basketball Teams! The Experience It has been a great experience working with the athletes at Washburn High School for the last six years. The Washburn community always makes us feel like family which gives us a strong connection with the school and its teams. Washburn School is like our home team, and we’re always proud of their accomplishments. The Vision One thing that we’d like to point out in this set, from an artistic standpoint, is how happy we are with the lighting of these portraits. If there are any fans of the photographer Joey L, we took inspiration from his portrait of Eric Mcnally of the band Foxy Shazam. By using a similar lighting configuration combined with the signature Washburn Red, we snapped away capturing the athletes in action! 39 Iconic Portraits ft Johnson County High School Longhorns Cheerleading

Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present 39 Iconic Portraits ft Johnson County High School Longhorns Cheerleading! This is our first year working with Johnson County High School sports, and these young athletes brought their A-game for a photo shoot inside the Longhorn’s unique dome-shaped gymnasium! Johnson County High School may be a smaller school located in Mountain City, however, their Cheerleading team displays an incredible amount of talent which usually comes from a school 3x the size! One thing we were impressed with was with the number of stunts these ladies performed. Not only were we impressed by their athletic abilities, but we would also like to applaud the Longhorn’s Cheer Team for the positive attitudes they brought to the photo shoot. Photographing the Longhorn’s Cheerleading Team was a great experience from beginning to end! A huge shout out goes to all the parents, players, and coaches for making this session of the Johnson County High School Cheer Team a success! 83 Iconic Portraits ft Washburn High School Pirates Basketball & Cheer 2023

Lenz Photography is proud to present 83 Iconic Portraits of the 2023 Washburn Pirates Basketball and Cheer Teams! This is the fifth year that we have photographed the athletes at WHS, but it is only the first year we have added the middle school and elementary teams into the mix (photos of Middle / Elementary Basketball and Dance teams coming soon)! We cannot say enough great things about the Washburn community. The experience is always great while photographing at Washburn, and the process keeps getting easier now that the students know what to expect on picture day. We had a blast photographing this Iconic Team Session of these talented lady athletes. Some of you may have seen the Iconic Portraits we did of the Trojans Senior Football Squad. If you did, then you know that Lenz Photography’s own, Alexandra Lenz, happens to be an alumni of Morristown West High School. Photographing 1 Morristown West Trojans team was exciting news, but we were ecstatic to get invited back to photograph a second! Not to mention, Coach Leslie Jones and her team were excited to not only have great photos, but they wanted to highlight their athleticism and toughness. 62 Iconic Photos ft the Washburn Boys & Girls Basketball Teams & Cheerleaders

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Boys & Girls Washburn Pirates Basketball Teams & Cheerleaders of Washburn High School! The following excerpt is originally from the previous Grainger Grizzlies blog, but we wanted to include it for this blog because Washburn is part of Grainger County and we're all family! "Now, some of you may be coming here just to see the awesome photos of the boys & girls basketball teams [and cheerleaders]. But for those of you that take the time to read this post, I'd like to personally give a shout out to the coaches, staff, players, & parents of Grainger County [Washburn included]. We have photographed several Grainger County Senior Portraits over the years, but this - along with Washburn's Girls & Boys Basketball team & Cheerleaders - has been the largest sports groups we have photographed back to back. Not only was this shoot personal to me because I am an alumnus of Grainger County High School graduating from Rutledge High School in 2008, but it means the world to me that the people of Grainger County were as happy and excited about the photos as we were! I'm not just saying this because I'm partial to Grainger County, but the players, coaches, & parents were some of the most polite and respectful groups of people whom we have worked with in over 7 years of business. Since we started Lenz Photography, LLC in 2011, we have been a small business with only 2 employees - Alexandra and myself. We have been through the lowest of lows where we thought we may have to call it quits, to the highest of highs where we traveled 10s of thousands of miles in a year photographing professional athletes such as Drew Brees and Jason Witten. One thing is for sure, there's no way we could've gotten this far without the support like we've received from the people of Grainger County. Thank you for all the support, and hopefully we photograph many more Grainger County sports teams in the future! The Iconic Morristown East High School Hurricane Cheerleaders

When Katy Hancock, cheer coach of the Morristown East High School Hurricanes, started her search for a photographer she had a specific vision. Katy didn't want your run of the mill "smile and look at the camera" photos. She wanted photos of her squad that focused on the juxtaposition of strength and beauty. So many times do women's sports get overshadowed by their male counterparts, but make no mistake; These girls are ATHLETES! If you don't believe so, then you try letting 4 of your friends toss you 20 feet in the air and let us know how it goes! It's not always butterflies and rainbows, and the Morristown East Cheerleading squad brought their A game in order to prove that girls can be tough AND beautiful in this set of 58 Iconic Photos brought to by Lenz Photography!

As many of you know -- And trust us when we say "many of you", because Maysi's Junior year blog had over 2,400 views in the first day! -- last year we had the opportunity of photographing Maysi Brotherton during our Fall Iconic Mini Sessions. And when we use the word Iconic, we don't use it lightly. Maysi is such an amazing athlete and works so well in front of the camera, we were actually a wee bit nervous to do her senior portraits. Why? Because, how in the world were we supposed to top last years photos?!? Needless to say, we pulled it off in the most epic of fashions.
