WHS Senior Banners Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 22 Iconic Portraits ft. Washburn High School Pirates Softball, 2025! The Experience We’re back at it again with the Washburn Lady Pirates Softball team! Just like the WHS Basketball team in the fall, this Spring marks the 7th consecutive season that we’ve been lucky enough to photograph the Lady Pirates Softball team. These ladies are always a blast to work with, and we’re proud to showcase their talent. The Vision This season, the Washburn Lady Pirates Softball Team sported a black uniform with red pinstripes. Using their uniforms as inspiration, we created their Senior Banners in Photoshop from scratch. The inspiration for the banner graphic was a “little planet” theme, where each player appears larger than life in front of a large, softball stadium lit up at night. We incorporated the red pinstripes and the American Flag in the background to tie in with their uniforms. The theme, the uniforms, the text & logos, along with the lighting on the athletes really sold the effect. Behind the scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 50 Iconic Portraits ft Grainger County Softball Player, Macey, Class of 2025. The Experience Grainger County athletes are putting in the work this year! Shout out to Macey – another Grainger Grizzly, Senior Class of 2025! Macey is a powerhouse behind the plate. She received All District for the Grainger Grizzlies Softball Team. Additionally, Macey plays for the Lady Velo travel team and attends the Marc Weekly hitting academy. The Vision Macey is a softball athlete with an emphasis on batting and catching. For her session, we began by photographing casual shots of Macey by some of the most iconic spots on the Grainger County High School campus. Macey chose a beautiful pink dress for her casual shots, and we thought it suited her perfectly. After capturing a few portraits around campus, it was time to move our equipment to the Softball field and switch into game mode. On the Grainger Grizzly Softball Field, Macey went through her full range of techniques from batting to catching. Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 51 Iconic Portraits ft Grainger County Softball & Volleyball Player, McKenna, Class of 2025. The Experience Grainger County always gets a shout out anytime we work with one of their student athletes, so shout out to our first Grainger Grizzly Senior Class of 2025! McKenna is an athlete with talent on and off the field. She received All Tournament her Sophomore and Junior years. Additionally, McKenna received All District Honors as a Junior. She is also a member of the BETA Club, an officer for FCCLA, and is active in her church youth group. A few years ago, we photographed softball portraits of McKenna for her travel team. In our experience, she’s also been laidback, with a positive attitude. However, she also knows how to up the intensity when it’s game time. The Vision McKenna is a multi-sport athlete with an emphasis on softball. For her session, we decided to start photographing inside the Grainger Grizzlies Gym, showcasing McKennas volleyball technique on her home court. Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the 2023 Washburn High School Pirates Baseball & Softball Teams! This year marks the fifth season we have had the pleasure of photographing the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams. We have always found these athletes to be a joy to work with, as they are always willing to cooperate with our ideas and bring their own unique spirit to our photo shoots. This season, we were thrilled to be able to photograph the teams on their brand-new fields. The weather was perfect, and the field made a stunning setting. As we photographed, we saw many familiar faces from previous years. It’s inspiring to see how the athletes grow and develope their skills over time, both as individuals and as part of their teams. We especially wish the Class of 2023 graduating seniors the best of luck in their future pursuits, both on and off the field. 51 Iconic Senior Portraits ft Grainger Grizzlies Softball Player Brooklyn Copley, Class of 2023

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Senior Portraits of Grainger Grizzlies Softball Player, Brooklyn Copley! About Brooklyn: Brooklyn is a Senior at Grainger High School in Rutledge, Tennessee. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, is a BETA Club member, and plans on pursuing work in the medical field. Brooklyn has committed to play softball at Walters State. As a Freshman, Brooklyn was a Varsity starter before COVID ended the season early. Her Sophomore year, she earned District MVP and All-State. Brooklyn’s Junior Year, she broke her wrist in the 2nd week of the season. Despite the odds, Brooklyn overcame adversity earning All District while still leading the team in batting average! She was also named to multiple All tournament teams. Finally, Brooklyn’s Senior year is still being written in the books as she collects her final stats and awards for Grainger Grizzly Softball later this week. Best of luck! Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the 2023 Grainger Grizzlies Softball Team. It has certainly been a weird past couple of years for sports. With team sports back in full swing for this 2022-2023 school year, scheduling, photographing, and proofing team sports has been an absolute whirlwind. With that being said, we’re always happy to fit Grainger County High School into our schedule. The Lenz’s (us) greatly appreciate the support our small business has received from the community. This team session is a set of photographs that are overdue to hit the blog, however, it is not due to the lack of excitement on our part. We have been very eager to share these photographs the last few weeks. About the team: This group of ladies were absolutely amazing to work with during our photography session and they have amazing photos to show for it! 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball

A couple months ago, Lenz had the privilege of showcasing the 2022 Washburn Pirates Basketball team and Cheer squad. Last but not least, we bring you the 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams. Again, Lenz has photographed these group of Senior Athletes since their Freshman year. The experience has been amazing following these athletes throughout their high school sports journey while getting to know many of their families. Those friendships are special to us, so we wanted to go above and beyond for their final group of Senior Sports Portraits. This is the first time Lenz has shot green screen to composite an entire team. It was a lot of work but the results turned out very rewarding! The Washburn Pirates background was created by combining multiple images from scratch. The kids and families chose their favorite poses, and we worked our magic! Hopefully you all enjoy these Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Portraits as much as we do, because we are in love with the way they turned out! 49 Iconic Photos ft the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams of Washburn High School! As mentioned in the previous post featuring the Grainger Grizzlies, this year's weather has been crazy! Either it has been too cold or too wet to photograph on the fields for photos during the month of March. So, whereas the Grainger Baseball & Softball teams had outdoor shots, we opted to photograph the Washburn Baseball & Softball portraits inside the gym. Needless to say, Plan B turned out to be Plan A+. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out! As a matter of fact, one of the players said that they "felt like they were in a Gatorade commercial" as they stepped on set in front of all the lights. We're glad the players had fun during the shoot, and even more glad the photos turned out amazing! It was an honor working with some of Grainger County's finest athletes! Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Grainger Grizzlies Baseball & Softball Teams of Grainger County High School! One thing that we can all agree on is that this year's weather has been crazy! We were lucky enough to coordinate with the coaches of Grainger to find a day that wasn't either too cold or too wet to shoot outside. We were successful in our approach to find a warm day, however the gale force winds that crept up during the shoot was a prefect example of Murphy's Law. Nothing a little extra editing couldn't fix! Thank you, parents of Grainger athletes, for your patience in our efforts to ensure all the prints and products are produced at the highest quality. 62 Iconic Photos ft the Softball Playing Costello Sisters Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Costello Sisters, Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric! As we were setting up a softball session for the Costello sisters, we learned that they were cousins of Keisha Griffin Monroe who just happened to being heading to Morristown from Clarksville for a family visit. Nobody can brings out their "Iconic side" in front of the camera better than Malachi and Tahj, so the fact that these three sisters were family to Keisha and the boys, we knew that Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric were going to shine in the spotlight! And that they did! The 3 Costello sisters may have different personalities, but they all share the same sense of humor. They channeled their game faces for their portraits, but believe us when we say that it was all smiles and laughter between sets. In their own words, they're "gooerious." When we asked them what gooerious meant, it was a combination of goofy and serious. Needless to say, we haven't stopped laughing yet!
