Morristown East High School Hurricane Cheerleaders
When Katy Hancock, cheer coach of the Morristown East High School Hurricanes, started her search for a photographer she had a specific vision. Katy didn’t want your run of the mill “smile and look at the camera” photos. She wanted photos of her squad that focused on the juxtaposition of strength and beauty. So many times do women’s sports get overshadowed by their male counterparts, but make no mistake; These girls are ATHLETES! If you don’t believe so, then you try letting 4 of your friends toss you 20 feet in the air and let us know how it goes! It’s not always butterflies and rainbows, and the Morristown East Cheerleading squad brought their A game in order to prove that girls can be tough AND beautiful in this set of 58 Iconic Photos brought to by Lenz Photography!
