Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 66 Iconic Senior Portraits of Mattox Smith, Maryville Christian School, Class of 2026! Meet Mattox Smith, a multi-talented senior athlete whose dedication on and off the field makes him a standout in every way. A four-year starting player on the Maryville Christian School varsity baseball team, Mattox has not only competed at the high school level but also played competitive travel baseball during the summers, showcasing his skills at regional and state tournaments. He was part of the historic 2023 MCS team that brought home the school’s first-ever NACA (National Association of Christian Athletes) national championship title. A versatile athlete, Mattox plays both catcher and outfield and was recently honored with MCS’ 2024–2025 Strength and Conditioning Student of the Year award. Mattox also ran for the MCS cross-country team, where he earned the Most Valuable Runner award, and was named MCS’ male nominee for the 2024 Goteez Sports Page Blount County Awards. Athletics isn’t the only place where Mattox shines. Mattox maintains strong academics, juggles two part-time jobs, and still finds time to serve others, volunteering with Second Harvest Food Bank and helping elderly neighbors with yard maintenance. The Experience The Alcoa Tornadoes Baseball team was an experience that we’ll never forget. We would say their photos will “blow you away”, but we’ll save the Tornado puns for a rainy day. Needless to say, we always like to celebrate first time achievements, and working with the Alcoa Baseball Team was a first that we’re excited to share! The Vision Last season, the Alcoa Baseball Team made their first appearance in the Tennessee State Tournament in 20 years. This year, the Tornadoes have high hopes of competing for that Tennessee State Title again. After meeting the players and getting a glimpse of the terrific team chemistry they possess, we can tell that this group of young men have an unbreakable bond on and off the field. Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the 2023 Washburn High School Pirates Baseball & Softball Teams! This year marks the fifth season we have had the pleasure of photographing the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams. We have always found these athletes to be a joy to work with, as they are always willing to cooperate with our ideas and bring their own unique spirit to our photo shoots. This season, we were thrilled to be able to photograph the teams on their brand-new fields. The weather was perfect, and the field made a stunning setting. As we photographed, we saw many familiar faces from previous years. It’s inspiring to see how the athletes grow and develope their skills over time, both as individuals and as part of their teams. We especially wish the Class of 2023 graduating seniors the best of luck in their future pursuits, both on and off the field. 16 Iconic Photos ft the first ever Washburn Middle School Pirates Baseball Team 2023

Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the 2023 Washburn Middle School Pirates Baseball Team! As always, it was a pleasure photographing the Washburn Middle School athletes. It’s so exciting to see the growth of Washburn sports. Although this is the first year these boys have played together under the Washburn Pirates name, many of these athletes have played together on various teams since their days on the tee ball field. The new Washburn Baseball and Softball fields served as an amazing backdrop to showcase the talent that these young athletes possess. During the day of the shoot, the weather was perfect and the players looked sharp in their new uniforms! We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful group of student athletes. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Washburn Middle School Pirates Baseball Team. Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Portraits of Brady, Grainger County High School Senior, Grizzly Basketball and Baseball Player! Brady is a shooting guard for the Grizzlies. We recently had the opportunity of photographing a creative session of Brady, accompanied by his cousin Logan, inside The Grizzly Den. We photographed several individual portraits, group portraits, action shots, locker room shots, and concluded with a few baseball portraits. Photographing sessions of Grainger Athletes is one of our favorites things to do. We look forward to the second half of Brady’s Iconic Sports Session this Spring where we will photograph him on the Baseball Field. 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball

A couple months ago, Lenz had the privilege of showcasing the 2022 Washburn Pirates Basketball team and Cheer squad. Last but not least, we bring you the 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams. Again, Lenz has photographed these group of Senior Athletes since their Freshman year. The experience has been amazing following these athletes throughout their high school sports journey while getting to know many of their families. Those friendships are special to us, so we wanted to go above and beyond for their final group of Senior Sports Portraits. This is the first time Lenz has shot green screen to composite an entire team. It was a lot of work but the results turned out very rewarding! The Washburn Pirates background was created by combining multiple images from scratch. The kids and families chose their favorite poses, and we worked our magic! Hopefully you all enjoy these Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Portraits as much as we do, because we are in love with the way they turned out! Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present senior portraits of Hancock High School Senior, Shayden Gibson. It has been a few years since Lenz has been to Hancock High School, but we’ve always had a great experience when working with the student athletes. Shayden is one of several athletes we worked with in a group setting, as well as the Hancock High School Baseball team during our 2021 Spring Season. 49 Iconic Photos ft the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams of Washburn High School! As mentioned in the previous post featuring the Grainger Grizzlies, this year's weather has been crazy! Either it has been too cold or too wet to photograph on the fields for photos during the month of March. So, whereas the Grainger Baseball & Softball teams had outdoor shots, we opted to photograph the Washburn Baseball & Softball portraits inside the gym. Needless to say, Plan B turned out to be Plan A+. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out! As a matter of fact, one of the players said that they "felt like they were in a Gatorade commercial" as they stepped on set in front of all the lights. We're glad the players had fun during the shoot, and even more glad the photos turned out amazing! It was an honor working with some of Grainger County's finest athletes!
