75 Iconic Senior Portraits ft Sadie Johnston of Morristown Hamblen High School East

Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present senior portraits of Morristown Hamblen High School East’s, Sadie Johnston, Class of 2021. In November of 2020, we had the chance to photograph these portraits of Sadie on a beautiful day, beginning at one of our favorite gardens and concluding downtown. Over the years, we have photographed Sadie multiple times – twice for dance, once for prom, once as a model for Allie Fa Vintage, and we even photographed her brother’s senior portraits. Having a tight relationship with Sadie and her mom, Traci, made the session even easier since everyone involved was comfortable with the process. (As if photographing someone as talented as Sadie isn’t easy enough as it is…) Sadie is a skilled dancer, so honestly, the hardest part of photographing Sadie is trying to top the photographs from the last session! Now, we don’t want to toot our own horn, but we pulled out of a lot of new techniques that we all agree made Sadie’s Senior Portrait Session a major success! Congrats on your senior year, Sadie! 35 Iconic Photos of 2020 Senior Wyatt Johnston of Morristown East

Lenz Photography, LLC of Knoxville is proud to present 2020 Senior Wyatt Johnston of Morristown Hamblen High School East. Wyatt graduated as the Salutatorian of his class with Honor’s and Distinction. Last summer, he attended Governor’s School for the Arts studying film. Wyatt also graduated high school with 33 hours of college credit from dual enrollment and AP classes. He plans on finishing at WSCC and transferring to ETSU. Wyatt's session took place in front of Morristown East High School where we were able to capture a few portraits in front of the building. One of our favorite moments was photographing Wyatt in his parking spot where the 2020 Seniors were able to add a touch of creativity by painting their own designs. After leaving the school, we headed to Downtown Morristown to capture a few more portraits of Wyatt. A few of you may also recognize Wyatt's sister, Sadie from her recent dance sessions. The brother and sister duo were even cool enough to do a photo recreation, which we had to include in the blog! The Lenz' would like the think Wyatt for being such a great sport during the session. We're glad that we were able to photograph him, and amazed at his many accomplishments!

60 Iconic Portraits of Washburn High School Basketball and Cheer

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Boys & Girls Washburn Pirates Basketball Teams & Cheerleaders of Washburn High School! This is the second year in a row that Lenz has worked with Washburn Athletics, and the coaches and staff always make us feel at home! The student athletes are easy to work with especially now that they have an idea of how their sports portraits are going to turn out! This year, we filmed a quick behind the scenes video of the photoshoot just to show how much fun we had creating portraits of these talented, young athletes. 49 Iconic Photos ft the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams of Washburn High School! As mentioned in the previous post featuring the Grainger Grizzlies, this year's weather has been crazy! Either it has been too cold or too wet to photograph on the fields for photos during the month of March. So, whereas the Grainger Baseball & Softball teams had outdoor shots, we opted to photograph the Washburn Baseball & Softball portraits inside the gym. Needless to say, Plan B turned out to be Plan A+. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out! As a matter of fact, one of the players said that they "felt like they were in a Gatorade commercial" as they stepped on set in front of all the lights. We're glad the players had fun during the shoot, and even more glad the photos turned out amazing! It was an honor working with some of Grainger County's finest athletes! Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Grainger Grizzlies Baseball & Softball Teams of Grainger County High School! One thing that we can all agree on is that this year's weather has been crazy! We were lucky enough to coordinate with the coaches of Grainger to find a day that wasn't either too cold or too wet to shoot outside. We were successful in our approach to find a warm day, however the gale force winds that crept up during the shoot was a prefect example of Murphy's Law. Nothing a little extra editing couldn't fix! Thank you, parents of Grainger athletes, for your patience in our efforts to ensure all the prints and products are produced at the highest quality. The following excerpt is originally from the previous Grainger Grizzlies blog, but we wanted to include it for this blog because Washburn is part of Grainger County and we're all family! "Now, some of you may be coming here just to see the awesome photos of the boys & girls basketball teams [and cheerleaders]. But for those of you that take the time to read this post, I'd like to personally give a shout out to the coaches, staff, players, & parents of Grainger County [Washburn included]. We have photographed several Grainger County Senior Portraits over the years, but this - along with Washburn's Girls & Boys Basketball team & Cheerleaders - has been the largest sports groups we have photographed back to back. Not only was this shoot personal to me because I am an alumnus of Grainger County High School graduating from Rutledge High School in 2008, but it means the world to me that the people of Grainger County were as happy and excited about the photos as we were! I'm not just saying this because I'm partial to Grainger County, but the players, coaches, & parents were some of the most polite and respectful groups of people whom we have worked with in over 7 years of business. Since we started Lenz Photography, LLC in 2011, we have been a small business with only 2 employees - Alexandra and myself. We have been through the lowest of lows where we thought we may have to call it quits, to the highest of highs where we traveled 10s of thousands of miles in a year photographing professional athletes such as Drew Brees and Jason Witten. One thing is for sure, there's no way we could've gotten this far without the support like we've received from the people of Grainger County. Thank you for all the support, and hopefully we photograph many more Grainger County sports teams in the future! Last but not least, we can't wait to see the team shots and individual senior banners hanging in the gym!" 62 Iconic Photos ft the Softball Playing Costello Sisters Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Costello Sisters, Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric! As we were setting up a softball session for the Costello sisters, we learned that they were cousins of Keisha Griffin Monroe who just happened to being heading to Morristown from Clarksville for a family visit. Nobody can brings out their "Iconic side" in front of the camera better than Malachi and Tahj, so the fact that these three sisters were family to Keisha and the boys, we knew that Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric were going to shine in the spotlight! And that they did! The 3 Costello sisters may have different personalities, but they all share the same sense of humor. They channeled their game faces for their portraits, but believe us when we say that it was all smiles and laughter between sets. In their own words, they're "gooerious." When we asked them what gooerious meant, it was a combination of goofy and serious. Needless to say, we haven't stopped laughing yet!
