93 Iconic Photos of the Reid Family

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville is proud to present the Iconic Reid Family! Photographed from left to right, Gavin, Gracelynn Lee, Chris, Brooks, Teilea Rayne, and Taylor Marie alway make our job easy by making us feel part of the family during our session. This year was the third year we've photographed the Reids for their annual portrait session, and the third time was definitely a charm. Brooks always does an incredible job coordinating outfits. And from a photography perspective, we have a fun time mixing in new ideas with recreations of previous poses and groupings that we've traditionally photographed at the Factory at Franklin. This year, we were glad to have Chris' parents, Nita and Brian, Chris' sister, Mary, and Mary's two sons, Reid and Eli, join us for some group shots and individuals. Plus, we even had the privilege of photographing Mary's dog, Lola! (If you know us, you know we're suckers for doggos!) All in all, we love creating portraits of the Reid family as much as we love them! We truly can't think of many families as deserving of the title "Iconic", because they wear it so well. You know... We don't shoot a large number of family sessions per year. Mainly, our time is taken up by our signature "Iconic" sports portraits. But guess what? If you have an Iconic Family, you're in luck, because we can photograph that, too!!! Luckily, out of all of the photographers in or around the South East, we had the opportunity to photograph the Iconic Reid Family of Franklin, Tennessee. Needless to say, the pleasure was truly ours! Who Is Ripley?

I’m glad you asked! Last month, not only did we have the opportunity to photograph the genius behind the band Ripley, we were privileged enough to spend some time chatting over authentic Mexican food and rock out with an impromptu jam session! Unfortunately, we can’t share any of the delicious Mexican food with you, but we can show you some of our favorite photos from the set! Production Day 1 The photo above has to be one of our favorites from the entire production. The sun was basically gone by this point, but there was still that faint 30 second glow left in the sky right before complete darkness set in. We were truly in a rush to grab this shot before losing all the color in the sky. Above, is Joey’s Tom Morello look! (Taken right before we were bum-rushed by the “security guard” of the grounds) haha. Production Day 2 Day two went a little smoother as we weren’t pressed for time as much, and we didn’t run into any “authority figures”. Alicia & Joey Christian

We could write about Alicia and Joey all day long. If we were to write a quick summary of their personalities we would definitely describe them as an artsy, laid-back couple with a great sense of humor. Alicia & Joey were such naturals in front of the camera as well. When Alicia & Joey first contacted us and ran their ideas by us, we were very excited to say the least. They explained that they had recently bought their first home a couple months ago and their session was something that they wanted do in order to commemorate this milestone in their life. We couldn’t have been more thrilled knowing that they hired us to shoot such a creative, themed session that would memorialize such a big step in their life. After all, what better way to celebrate than by scheduling a creative portrait session? During their session, we directed and posed several shots, however, we actually caught a lot of natural interactions amongst the two (which we feel better displays their personality, anyhow).
