The Experience If you’ve followed our journey, then you know that we love our dogs like they’re our children. Obviously, we love photographing sports, but spending an afternoon photographing a cute dog ranks pretty high up there on our list of “Fun Ways to Spend an Evening.” Meet Moose. Moose was pretty laid back, but he was still full of energy – especially at the age of 13. Moose looked great for his age and seemed to be a very happy pup! The Vision When Tyler & Chasli made a post online searching for a photographer to photograph them with their oldest dog, Moose, they knew that their time with him was limited. Moose unfortunately had a tumor and was in his final stages of life. Tyler wanted someone to use their artistic vision, but he had one special request. Moose loved taking truck rides in his old 1984 Ford F-150, so we had to incorporate that in the shoot somehow. Lenz Photography is proud to present senior portraits of Gracie, Washburn High School Senior Class of 2023! Lenz has photographed Gracie a few time throughout her high school career – most notably during sports portrait sessions of the cheerleading team and prom portrait sessions. Gracie has always been enjoyable to work with. Her hard work and dedication has paid off during her senior year and has landed her as the captain of the 2022-2023 Pirates Cheerleading Team! We know Gracie will do her best job leading the Pirates Cheerleading team to greatness! This was our first time shooting outdoor, casual portraits of Gracie and we all had a blast! We feel honored creating iconic senior portraits of Gracie during this milestone in her life. We wish Gracie the best during her senior year, and we will see her again when it’s time to photograph the cheerleading team! We have photographed a few dance sessions of Sadie over the years, so we knew she would be a perfect candidate to photograph during our limited Spring Special at Baxter Gardens. Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville is proud to present Powell High School Class of 2020, Summer Hoffer. Summer and her mom, Elizabeth, were very fun to chat with and hang out with during the session. Even though it turned out to be a chilly fall day, we all made the best of our adventure through the gardens and walked away with some stunning portraits. We have to give a lot of the credit to Summer for being an unapologeticly unique individual with a killer style to match! I mean… Have you seen those amazing white go-go boots?!? In our opinion, Summer’s unique wardrobe choices are an extension of her creative personality. As artists, the most nerve-racking part of capturing a portrait is to fully embody the personality of your subject. Summer is the season for sunflowers, and there's no better way to kick off our Sunflower Mini Sessions than by photographing sisters, Jadyn & Jordyn! Even though we had to fight the crowd and swim through the flooded fields, it was worth it in order to create some Iconic Portraits of these beautiful sisters. Also, we'd like to give a big shout out to Teara for being easy to work with and for choosing the perfect outfits and accessories that helped take the portraits to the next level!

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents Greg Blankenship of Gregory's Greenhouse Productions. As many of you know, the Lenzes bought our first house this past May. We were lucky enough to find the perfect location close to downtown Knoxville with a large detached garage that we converted into our new photography studio. Now, we mention that because whether you're a friend, family member, or client, the first thing everyone usually comments on is all the amazing plants! From the front yard, to the large planter pots outside the studio entrance, to the dozens of plants in the sunroom gallery we have really put some time and effort into decking the place out with as many plants as possible! A portion of our prolific plant collection wouldn't be possible without Greg. The first time we met Greg was at the local Farmer's Market where we purchased two of our most unique plants, our pineapple plant and pencil cactus. After chatting a bit with Greg, we learned that he was responsible for all the beautiful planters you see around the downtown area. [blockquote quote_type="" author_name="Greg Blankenship" width="100%" float="left"]The company began as a dogwood tree nursery in 1991. Early on, I incorporated some landscaping and lawn care into his nursery in order to generate the cash needed to become established in business. Over the years, I started building greenhouses and learned how to grow many different types of plants. Even though it was a struggle, throughout all the hard work, the love for the community and the love for plants kept the business alive. Today, Gregory’s Greenhouse Productions has about 6,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse growing space and an additional 3,000 sq. ft. outdoors and about 80% of the business is wholesale.[/blockquote] Being able to photograph Greg in his environment was an amazing experience that combined two of our favorite elements into one: plants and photography. And we can't forget about meeting his cute pup, Beamer! We truly had a blast creating portraits of Greg while competing to see who could come up with the most quick-witted comedy. Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville brings you our first Class of 2019 Senior, Mikala Livesay, of Morristown Hamblen High School West! Over the years, we have worked with Mikala and her brother C.J. creating many Iconic portraits along the way. For these portraits, Mikala was riding solo, but we don't think she minded being the star of the show. Thankfully, Julie came along to assist during the session which really helped nail the small details. After all, the more Livesays the better! As with anyone we've previously photographed, we strive to top the last portrait session. And what better way of going above-and-beyond than to photograph the session at a secret garden we discovered? We began by photographing casual shots of Mikala in various locations around the gardens and concluded with the trademark "Iconic Sports Portraits" in her Morristown West Cheerleading uniform. Lenz Photography, LLC is proud to bring you a two for one special this time! Not only are Chelsea and Angelica our favorite twin sisters, but their husbands, Adam and Allen, are our two favorite knuckleheads! All kidding aside, Chelsea, Adam, Angelica, and Allen have been some of our best friends since we were all acquainted at their first photo shoot all the way back in 2013! Boy, how time flies! Since that glorious day, we've had the privilege of photographing a wedding for Angelica and Allen, we've all stuffed our faces with countless meals at some of our favorite Knoxville restaurants, watched football games, dressed up at Halloween parties, and now we're bringing you the latest -- some amazing fall portraits! This session was photographed in October of 2016, so we're a season behind! But, once we realized we forgot to share their set and write a little something about some of our bestest-buds-in-the-whole-world, we jumped at the opportunity before the 2017 season gets too hectic.
