Lenz Photography is proud to present portraits of Emma; Our first full Iconic Senior Session from Washburn High School! A quick word about the Washburn community: It doesn’t come as a surprise to many of you all who are reading this post that our Washburn and Grainger clients hold a special place in our hearts. Truly, without them our business would have never been able to survive through these past few years. Even when the baseball and softball season was cut short in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, many parents still contacted us and purchased prints via FaceTime. (And if you’ve ever tried to get signal in Washburn, you already know what a feat that was to overcome!) The fact that 2022 is our 4th full year photographing sports portraits for Washburn High School means that we have photographed most of the Washburn graduating class since they were freshman. Every year photographing at Washburn has gotten better because the kids and parents know what to expect. Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present portraits of Hancock High School siblings, Will Anderson (Sophomore) and Morgan Anderson (Senior). It has been a few years since Lenz has been to Hancock High School, but we’ve always had a great experience when working with the student athletes. Will and Morgan are two of several athletes we worked with in a group setting, as well as the Hancock High School Baseball team during our 2021 Spring Season. Needless to say, all the Hancock athletes did an amazing job during their session. Thank you to all the athletes, coaches, teachers, and parents who helped bring this shoot together. Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Costello Sisters, Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric! As we were setting up a softball session for the Costello sisters, we learned that they were cousins of Keisha Griffin Monroe who just happened to being heading to Morristown from Clarksville for a family visit. Nobody can brings out their "Iconic side" in front of the camera better than Malachi and Tahj, so the fact that these three sisters were family to Keisha and the boys, we knew that Lyonna, Laniya, & Lyric were going to shine in the spotlight! And that they did! The 3 Costello sisters may have different personalities, but they all share the same sense of humor. They channeled their game faces for their portraits, but believe us when we say that it was all smiles and laughter between sets. In their own words, they're "gooerious." When we asked them what gooerious meant, it was a combination of goofy and serious. Needless to say, we haven't stopped laughing yet! Needless to say, the process has taken a little longer than expected. On the bright side, we couldn't ask for a better set of images for the first blog post in our new studio! Neven and Nathaniel are two twin brothers with different personalities, but they share one thing in common; They're both ICONIC! Neven started our session by ballin' out in Morristown East's gym, and Nathaniel finished off our set big with his Mustang on top of the parking garage. Congratulations on your graduation, Neven and Nathaniel! We had a blast photographing your senior portraits, and can't wait to shoot with you in the future - even if we did have to photoshop out a few curling-iron burns...

(Pictured from left to right) Jenna, Lila Jean, Jedidiah, David, and Johnathan have been great teammates and training partners of ours at GB Knox since the first day we stepped foot on the matts. Now, along with Joseph Watson, they are also the family behind the newly opened Maryville Jiu Jitsu. We know from our own experience that there is a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that comes with following your dreams and running a small business. However, we have 100 percent confidence in this amazing, tight knit, dedicated family of trained assassins. The discipline and dedication they show on the matts obviously translates to the rest of their family endeavors, which is not only the beauty of their family dynamic, but is also the beauty of training jiu jitsu as a family.
