43 Iconic Portraits of the Morristown West Trojans Baseball Team

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Trojans Baseball Team of Morristown West High School! This is the first year that Lenz has worked with the Trojans Baseball Team. Morristown West's indoor facility, The Den, made for an amazing location to film their team hype video and served well as a backdrop for their individual portraits! The student athletes didn't let us down with the creativity that they brought to the set, especially their idea to have a colonial musket dual with baseball bats! We hope to work with many more Morristown West athletes in the future, and wish all teams success on and off the field. Thank you to all the parents and coaches for all the help during and after the session.

57 Iconic Portraits of Multi-Sport Athlete Kobe Evans of Grainger County High School

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents Kobe Evans, a multi-sport athlete and 2019 graduate of Grainger County High School. During his 4 years at GCHS, Kobe played Baseball, Basketball, and Swam. Most impressively, while playing 4 sports he was a full time college student during his last semester of high school! Kobe also made the Deans list with a 3.81 gpa! He will attend Carson-Newman University with 47 college credit hours and will swim as a Sprinter for the Eagles.

49 Iconic Photos ft the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams of Washburn High School! As mentioned in the previous post featuring the Grainger Grizzlies, this year's weather has been crazy! Either it has been too cold or too wet to photograph on the fields for photos during the month of March. So, whereas the Grainger Baseball & Softball teams had outdoor shots, we opted to photograph the Washburn Baseball & Softball portraits inside the gym. Needless to say, Plan B turned out to be Plan A+. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out! As a matter of fact, one of the players said that they "felt like they were in a Gatorade commercial" as they stepped on set in front of all the lights. We're glad the players had fun during the shoot, and even more glad the photos turned out amazing! It was an honor working with some of Grainger County's finest athletes! Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Grainger Grizzlies Baseball & Softball Teams of Grainger County High School! One thing that we can all agree on is that this year's weather has been crazy! We were lucky enough to coordinate with the coaches of Grainger to find a day that wasn't either too cold or too wet to shoot outside. We were successful in our approach to find a warm day, however the gale force winds that crept up during the shoot was a prefect example of Murphy's Law. Nothing a little extra editing couldn't fix! Thank you, parents of Grainger athletes, for your patience in our efforts to ensure all the prints and products are produced at the highest quality. Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the Boys & Girls Washburn Pirates Basketball Teams & Cheerleaders of Washburn High School! The following excerpt is originally from the previous Grainger Grizzlies blog, but we wanted to include it for this blog because Washburn is part of Grainger County and we're all family! "Now, some of you may be coming here just to see the awesome photos of the boys & girls basketball teams [and cheerleaders]. But for those of you that take the time to read this post, I'd like to personally give a shout out to the coaches, staff, players, & parents of Grainger County [Washburn included]. We have photographed several Grainger County Senior Portraits over the years, but this - along with Washburn's Girls & Boys Basketball team & Cheerleaders - has been the largest sports groups we have photographed back to back. Not only was this shoot personal to me because I am an alumnus of Grainger County High School graduating from Rutledge High School in 2008, but it means the world to me that the people of Grainger County were as happy and excited about the photos as we were! I'm not just saying this because I'm partial to Grainger County, but the players, coaches, & parents were some of the most polite and respectful groups of people whom we have worked with in over 7 years of business. Since we started Lenz Photography, LLC in 2011, we have been a small business with only 2 employees - Alexandra and myself. We have been through the lowest of lows where we thought we may have to call it quits, to the highest of highs where we traveled 10s of thousands of miles in a year photographing professional athletes such as Drew Brees and Jason Witten. One thing is for sure, there's no way we could've gotten this far without the support like we've received from the people of Grainger County. Thank you for all the support, and hopefully we photograph many more Grainger County sports teams in the future! Last but not least, we can't wait to see the team shots and individual senior banners hanging in the gym!" After much anticipation, Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville is pleased to unveil Zain’s ICONIC photo shoot! We had the pleasure of working with this fine young man and his Family to create this very memorable photo session; one of which has become a favorite of ours thus far. Zain is not only a very talented athlete, but he is naturally photogenic, which made our job as his Photographers much easier. We’d like to showcase just some of the many awards and accolades that 9-year-old, Zain, has been able to accomplish in his young sports career, to date: Baseball: Two-time USSSA Tennessee Player of the Year (2016, 2017) USSSA Tennessee Team of the Year 2016 USSSA Global World Series Third Place 2016 Two-time USSSA Tennessee All-State Team Selection (2016, 2017) Two-time USSSA Tennessee All-Regional Team Selection (2016, 2017) Four-time State and Regional Skills Champion (Roadrunner) Atlanta Braves Classic Fleet Feet Winner 2015 Basketball: 2017 AAU Basketball team went undefeated in Tournament play 2017 UT Basketball Camp: Three point contest winner 2017 Atlanta Hoop Fest: Runner-Up 2016 UT Basketball Camp: King of the Court 2014 UT Basketball Camp: winner of two of the three skills competitions Zain’s teams have placed in either first or second in every basketball season to date. Along with his team recognition, he has won many awards at various camps in the area. One of the accomplishments that holds a special place in Zain’s heart is the 2017 UT Basketball Camp’s “INAM” (It’s Not all About Me) Award. An award given to only one player for their excellent Sportsmanship, chosen by the UT Basketball Staff. Zain was given this award after being moved several times to different teams within the camp, but always playing within the team system, all the while helping others during the entire UT Basketball camp experience. Of note, Zain has also played flag football on four consecutive Championship teams, while only losing one game during that time. Therefore, whatever the sport, you better believe you will find him playing with all of his heart and soul, for the betterment of the team. Zain truly enjoys playing sports, and not only that, but he is a true team-player as well, evident by his awards in Sportsmanship. We have no doubt that Zain is a Superstar! He has won more awards to date, in various sports, than we have ever seen! It was both an honor and privilege to be able to chronicle a few of his many accomplishments and showcase them in the form of photography. The future looks bright for Zain, and with his great attitude (noted during our photo session in the frigid weather for several hours), the sky is the limit for this extremely accomplished and fine young man! Photographing a swimmer has been on the LENZ bucket list for a while now. Not only is Kobe an Iconic Baseball Player, but he's also an Iconic Swimmer! Kobe has been swimming since he was 7 years old, and he has medals from the AAU junior olympics to prove it! Kobe is Grainger High's first swimmer, and he was also on the 2015 Southeastern Swimming Zone Team. As a matter of fact, on July 30th Kobe had a personal best in every event. He finished 3rd in backstroke (24.60), 3rd in breaststroke (27.32), 2nd in Mixed Relay, and 3rd in Free Relay! Kobe also posted a 21.65 in 50 free in the start of the relay!
