About the Session
Lenz Photography is proud to present 90 Iconic Portraits of the 2023-2024 Washburn Middle and Elementary School Pirates Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, & Dance Teams!
The Experience
In addition to Washburn High School Athletics, it has been a great experience working with the athletes at Washburn Middle & Elementary School for the 2nd Season. The Washburn community always makes us feel like family which gives us a strong connection with the school and its teams. Washburn School is like our home team, and we’re always proud of their accomplishments.
The Vision
One thing that we’d like to point out in this set, from an artistic standpoint, is how happy we are with the lighting of these portraits. If there are any fans of the photographer Joey L, we took inspiration from his portrait of Eric Mcnally of the band Foxy Shazam. By using a similar lighting configuration combined with the signature Washburn Red, we snapped away capturing the athletes in action! As photographers, we are passionate about our work and we take pride in the quality of our photos. In addition to showcasing the facilities, we strive to do something unique every year while keeping the focus on the athletes.
