Lenz Photography is proud to present 22 Iconic Portraits ft. Washburn High School Pirates Softball, 2025!

The Experience

We’re back at it again with the Washburn Lady Pirates Softball team! Just like the WHS Basketball team in the fall, this Spring marks the 7th consecutive season that we’ve been lucky enough to photograph the Lady Pirates Softball team. These ladies are always a blast to work with, and we’re proud to showcase their talent.

The Vision

This season, the Washburn Lady Pirates Softball Team sported a black uniform with red pinstripes. Using their uniforms as inspiration, we created their Senior Banners in Photoshop from scratch. The inspiration for the banner graphic was a “little planet” theme, where each player appears larger than life in front of a large, softball stadium lit up at night. We incorporated the red pinstripes and the American Flag in the background to tie in with their uniforms. The theme, the uniforms, the text & logos, along with the lighting on the athletes really sold the effect. Overall, we were very pleased with the results, and the printed banners looked incredible in person!

The Final Product

From Tough Team Photos to Senior Squads and Smiling Individual Portraits, this 2025 WHS Season has it all! A huge shout out goes to our Seniors: BreeAnna, Katie, Natalie, & Rylee! Also, we can’t forget our favorite Softball Coach of all time – Karen Coffman – aka the G.O.A.T.! Enjoy the rest of your school year as the 2025 season comes to a close.

We wish the Washburn Pirates all the best for the remainder of their 2025 season. Thank you to all the parents, teachers, coaches, and players for your help at making the WHS Media Day a success!
