Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present 48 Iconic Portraits of Kurstyn! Kurstyn is a Senior from Virginia with a love for cars. Her current plan after graduation is to attend trade school where she will work towards becoming a mechanic. Our collective love for cars is actually how we met Kurstyn’s family in the first place at the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. Since then, we have had the chance to hang out and chat over dinner on a few occasions. During the process, we have become great friends! Kurstyn would’ve been easy to photograph, regardless, but it was even easier since she knew what to expect from us two goofy nerds! With a focus on Kurstyn’s love for cars, Elvis, and all things vintage, we could only think of this amazing location in Rogersville. We have photographed at this location once before, and we knew it would be perfect for an aspiring mechanic. The Experience It has been a great experience working with the athletes at Washburn High School for the last six years. The Washburn community always makes us feel like family which gives us a strong connection with the school and its teams. Washburn School is like our home team, and we’re always proud of their accomplishments. The Vision One thing that we’d like to point out in this set, from an artistic standpoint, is how happy we are with the lighting of these portraits. If there are any fans of the photographer Joey L, we took inspiration from his portrait of Eric Mcnally of the band Foxy Shazam. By using a similar lighting configuration combined with the signature Washburn Red, we snapped away capturing the athletes in action! 47 Iconic Portraits ft Hancock High School Basketball Teams 2023 – 2024

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Portraits of the 2023-2024 Hancock Indians Basketball Teams! A few years ago, we photographed our first team sessions with the Hancock Indians Baseball team. We’re always happy to be contacted to come back and work with a school’s athletic program. The Hancock Indians Basketball team was a ton of fun to photograph and tested our creativity. The Hancock Student Athletes were on top of their game during the session and had plenty of fun ideas to try. We’re happy with the final results from the team portrait, to the individual portraits and the Senior Banners! Team Portrait The team portrait is a great way to capture the camaraderie and spirit of the team. We captured the Lady Indians’ vibrant spirit in their signature blue and yellow uniforms, highlighting the four seniors in their distinguished white jerseys. Individual Portraits We also photographed each player individually with a focus on capturing each player’s unique personality and style, all while highlighting team mascots, school colors, jersey designs, and logos. Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present 39 Iconic Portraits of Jaxon Maxey, Grainger Grizzlies Basketball & Baseball Player! Jaxon is a senior Grizzlies basketball and baseball player at Grainger County High School. Jaxon is the younger brother of Jace – who was a senior baseball player that graduated in 2020. We were excited to photograph Jace’s senior sports portraits not only because Jace’s senior session was very fun, but we were excited for the challenge of creating something different and unique for Jaxon. Jaxon’s session was a ton of fun from photographing his individual portraits, group portraits with his friends, and multiple sports including baseball and basketball. We brought our signature smoke for the indoor and outdoor photos, and we may have even set the fire alarm off a time or two. Tucker Larrance is a talented young angler who fishes for the Jefferson County High School Anglers fishing team. Tucker, now a freshman in high school, is no stranger to competing with the high school fishing team. The first time we photographed Tucker was when he was 10 years old when he had already spent two seasons fishing for the high school team, showcasing an impressive dedication and skill set. This year, Tucker seemed to be having just as much fun out on the water as he did when we first photographed him at the age of 10. Even at a young age, Tucker’s passion for competitive fishing was undeniable. As he embarked on his high school journey, we set out to capture this milestone in his life in a creative way. 27 Iconic Portraits ft the Grainger Grizzlies Volleyball Team 2023

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Portraits of the 2023 Grainger Grizzlies Volleyball Team! It’s always a great time photographing athletes at Grainger High School, and this years volleyball team session was a blast! All the players brought great energy and came up with some fun poses. This year the Grainger Grizzlies only have one Senior Volleyball Player, Maddie Hurst. Accordion to Grainger Grizzlies coach Jessica Maxey, “[Maddie] is the best volleyball player Grainger High has ever had and the first and only All State Volleyball player for the Lady Grizzlies. She hold records that will likely stand for several years to come. Maddie can play every position on the floor and not many teams have a player who knows more than the refs.” We’d like to wish Maddie and the Grainger Grizzlies Volleyball Team the best of luck on the rest of their season. 37 Iconic Photos ft the Tennessee Smoke Trapshooting Club

Lenz Photography is proud to present 37 Iconic Photos of the Tennessee Smoke Trapshooting Club! Tennessee Smoke is the first Trapshooting team we have had the opportunity to photograph, and we were very excited to have the opportunity to create some unique images. Luckily for us, the sky on the day of the shoot offered epic cloud formations that added drama to the scene. All the athletes on the team were disciplined and easy to photograph, making the shoot a breeze. After capturing team photos, the team got to participate in a long-standing tradition in trapshooting – shooting a teammate’s hat. Those who achieve the milestone of shooting all 25 clays in a round, for the first time, are treated to this tradition, where all trapshooters at the club shoot their hat. Overall, Lenz Photography had a fantastic experience photographing the Tennessee Smoke Trapshooting Team, and we were thrilled to be a part of such a unique tradition in the sport of trapshooting. Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the 2023 Washburn High School Pirates Baseball & Softball Teams! This year marks the fifth season we have had the pleasure of photographing the Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball teams. We have always found these athletes to be a joy to work with, as they are always willing to cooperate with our ideas and bring their own unique spirit to our photo shoots. This season, we were thrilled to be able to photograph the teams on their brand-new fields. The weather was perfect, and the field made a stunning setting. As we photographed, we saw many familiar faces from previous years. It’s inspiring to see how the athletes grow and develope their skills over time, both as individuals and as part of their teams. We especially wish the Class of 2023 graduating seniors the best of luck in their future pursuits, both on and off the field. 51 Iconic Senior Portraits ft Grainger Grizzlies Softball Player Brooklyn Copley, Class of 2023

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Senior Portraits of Grainger Grizzlies Softball Player, Brooklyn Copley! About Brooklyn: Brooklyn is a Senior at Grainger High School in Rutledge, Tennessee. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, is a BETA Club member, and plans on pursuing work in the medical field. Brooklyn has committed to play softball at Walters State. As a Freshman, Brooklyn was a Varsity starter before COVID ended the season early. Her Sophomore year, she earned District MVP and All-State. Brooklyn’s Junior Year, she broke her wrist in the 2nd week of the season. Despite the odds, Brooklyn overcame adversity earning All District while still leading the team in batting average! She was also named to multiple All tournament teams. Finally, Brooklyn’s Senior year is still being written in the books as she collects her final stats and awards for Grainger Grizzly Softball later this week. Best of luck!
