Lenz Photography is proud to present newlyweds Lata and Sujan.
The following is a tribute from the Lenz’s to the newlyweds Lata and Sujan:
Lata has been a friend of the Lenz’s ever since we collectively met at Carson Newman College in 2011. However, Alexandra and Lata have known each other for over 17 years – dating all the way back to their days of playing clarinet at high school band camp.
Lata has been a great friend over the years. We have shared countless laughs and wild adventures. Lata was even a huge part of our elopement in Washington D.C. back in 2016.
Although we have had tons of fun, one thing that we have to credit Lata with is being one of the hardest workers whom we have the privilege of calling a friend. She is incredibly studious and holds herself to a high standard. As a matter of fact, Lata just recently received her Doctorate in Statistics from Virginia Tech.
A little bit of backstory for insight; Lata and Sujan met in April of 2019. They quickly hit it off, and got engaged on October 12th. Now, it is popular in Indian culture to have an auspicious wedding day. An auspicious wedding day is where the Priest determines your wedding date based off of your star sign (the lunar calendar version of zodiac). Therefore, before Covid their wedding date was already determined to take place on July 25th, 2020. Obviously, alot of improvisation took place, but these two pulled it off beautifully!
We can all agree that 2020 has been quite chaotic, but if anything sums up Lata’s drive and determination to make the best of life the fact that she got married and received her doctorate this year is quite symbolic of her character.
Now, we don’t want to make this all about Lata, because Sujan is a great guy! But unfortunately we’ve know Lata way longer, so it’s easier to brag on her. (Sorry Sujan!)
What we can tell you about Sujan, though, is that he is an incredible guy. Sujan is currently an IT Consultant at Hitachi and is very intelligent. He has a laid-back personality, and he seems to be the perfect fit and balance for Lata.
We are incredibly happy for Lata and Sujan and their marriage. Love is the most important aspect of life, in our opinion. As much as we love photography, we value our relationship over anything and would quit photography in a heartbeat if it got in the way.
Since we’re being honest, we value our relationship so much that we would secretly worry that Lata was so incredibly studious that she may be passing up on finding love. Little did we know, our cynicism was misplaced. Lata was just waiting for the perfect moment in life to meet her best friend and soulmate.
With that being said, we’re incredibly happy that Lata and Sujan found each other. Lata and Sujan already seem like they’ve known each other for years, and it makes our hearts happy that their bond is already very strong.
Congratulations to the newlyweds Lata and Sujan! We wish you nothing but happiness and success in your new journey together.
