About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 47 Iconic Portraits of Bryson & Laikin’s Surprise Engagement! We recently had the joy of photographing our friends Bryson and Laikin for a surprise engagement session at the breathtaking Pretty Place Chapel in South Carolina. We first met Bryson back when he was working the night shift at Planet Fitness, and it was so special to capture this milestone in his life. The chapel, perched high in the mountains, offered a stunning backdrop, and while there was quite a crowd gathered that day, we were able to work creatively to make it feel like they had the whole venue to themselves. The result? A set of portraits as intimate and unforgettable as the moment itself. Behind the Scenes About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 75 Iconic Wedding Portraits of Emma & Stephen Gyebison. Emma has been a great friend of ours since we met while training jiu jitsu back in 2017. Since then, we’ve hung out and watched many UFC fights together. They say you can’t trust someone as a friend unless you absolutely lose your minds and cuss out the tv together over the outcome of sporting event. I think we’ve checked that one off the list a few times. Good times! A little about Emma & Stephen as a couple; Emma met Stephen while she was working as a server at Hooters. She told him she liked his shirt. He says he didn’t believe her. The rest was history. Emma & Stephen started dating in 2019 & have been together for 6 years. They eloped on July 11th, 2025. Emma loves martial arts, and is very passionate about helping animals. Stephen is also a fan of martial arts and sports. About the Session Lenz Photography is proud to present 59 Iconic Portraits of Kobe & Olivia’s Surprise Engagement! As photographers, this is one of those sessions that is a full circle moment. It feels just like yesterday we were photographing Senior Portraits of Kobe, and now he’s a full grown adult who’s graduated from college, engaged, and getting married! We have always enjoyed photographing Kobe. His family is very tight knit, and they are some of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. We are honored that they contacted us to take part in another one of life’s major milestones. When preparing this blog, we asked Kobe to give us a short description of how he met Olivia and this was his response; We’ve know each other for 2 years in September and October will be our 2 year dating anniversary. I asked Olivia to be my girlfriend at the local Mexican restaurant in Maryville on Halloween night in 2023. We got engaged on June 21st of 2025. The Experience If you’ve followed our journey, then you know that we love our dogs like they’re our children. Obviously, we love photographing sports, but spending an afternoon photographing a cute dog ranks pretty high up there on our list of “Fun Ways to Spend an Evening.” Meet Moose. Moose was pretty laid back, but he was still full of energy – especially at the age of 13. Moose looked great for his age and seemed to be a very happy pup! The Vision When Tyler & Chasli made a post online searching for a photographer to photograph them with their oldest dog, Moose, they knew that their time with him was limited. Moose unfortunately had a tumor and was in his final stages of life. Tyler wanted someone to use their artistic vision, but he had one special request. Moose loved taking truck rides in his old 1984 Ford F-150, so we had to incorporate that in the shoot somehow. Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present wedding portraits of Erica & Josh Rakestraw. Erica and Josh have been together for over 10 years and recently got married on April 23rd, 2021. Ironically, our anniversary is on April 24th, and we happened to be celebrating in Jacksonville, FL for a few days. Although we weren’t there for the actual ceremony, Erica & Josh contacted us to photograph a few post-wedding portraits of them near their home in Tallahassee, FL. Photographing Erica & Josh was laid back and fun! We drove to a beautiful boat dock at the end of their street in order to catch the sunset on the water. Alexandra even got to hold an alligator that a fisherman had accidentally caught on his line. I guess it isn’t Florida if you don’t wrestle a few gators! After the shoot, we enjoyed a delicious crab boil while our dogs played and made new friends. Alexandra and Erica actually both went to Morristown West High School where they both played clarinet in the band together. Madison and Noah have been dating for over 3 years and make a great couple! Lenz had a blast photographing them around Downtown Knoxville, and even though we battled some wind, we think their portraits turned out amazing! Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present Frankie and Alex! We can all agree that this year has been crazy, but there’s always a silver lining if you’re willing to search hard enough. And although we’ve had a lot of down time in the photography world this year, we’ve used that time to our advantage by photographing some fun, creative projects we wouldn’t have had the time to photograph, otherwise. One of our favorite projects this year has been working with Frankie at Allie Fa Vintage in Morristown. Not only does Frankie have an amazing store in Downtown Morristown filled with unique vintage clothing, but she is such an amazingly cool, creative individual. The Lenz’ are thankful that we worked with Frankie at Allie Fa Vintage, because that’s led us forming a relationship with Frankie, her husband Alex, and other amazing friends such as Haley and Jacqueline. Generally, we don’t shoot a lot of weddings. However, couples like Frankie and Alex inspire us to create unique and dramatic couple’s portraits. Lata and Sujan’s Wedding Day July 25th 2020

Lenz Photography is proud to present newlyweds Lata and Sujan. The following is a tribute from the Lenz’s to the newlyweds Lata and Sujan: Lata has been a friend of the Lenz’s ever since we collectively met at Carson Newman College in 2011. However, Alexandra and Lata have known each other for over 17 years – dating all the way back to their days of playing clarinet at high school band camp. Lata has been a great friend over the years. We have shared countless laughs and wild adventures. Lata was even a huge part of our elopement in Washington D.C. back in 2016. Although we have had tons of fun, one thing that we have to credit Lata with is being one of the hardest workers whom we have the privilege of calling a friend. She is incredibly studious and holds herself to a high standard. As a matter of fact, Lata just recently received her Doctorate in Statistics from Virginia Tech. So, it was only appropriate for us to shoot these epic proms portraits in the middle of a downpour! What better backdrop for a group of Morristown East Hurricanes? Cora Wagoner Photography documenting the Lenz Family’s First Home in 18 Portraits

Lenz Photography LLC of Knoxville presents the amazing portrait work by Cora Wagoner of Cora Wagoner Photography. Cora is an amazing artist who we have followed for several years. As photographers, we have always been blown away by her creativity. Cora's portraits are fashionably outside the box. She is currently located in Rogersville, TN, and we're so glad that we were able to book her last minute. Back in May of 2018, the Lenzes were fortunate enough to purchase our first home. Obviously buying a home is a tedious process, but once we factored in moving our personal belongings AND relocating our business to our new home we knew it was going to take some hard work and elbow grease. By Fall of 2018, we at least had the place in order to document our first home through photographs. (Although 2 months later it already looks like a different place!) This session was our first time meeting Cora in person, and she didn't disappoint. Not only did we love the portraits that she created of our family, but she was a cool person that we'd love to hang out with outside of photography! Cora truly captured our personalities and documented a special moment in our lives that we will forever look back on with nothing but positive vibes. Without going into too much detail, less than 4 years ago we were struggling to pay rent on a 430 sq ft apartment with plenty of violent crime and roaches to go around. After that, we moved to Knoxville where we lived in our studio with a makeshift shower, no kitchen, and a bed in the closet. Now, we live and work out of our own home with a separate studio space in Knoxville, TN. We're truly thankful for the struggles and the experiences during those first few years of making the leap into full time self employment. It wasn't easy, but without those struggles we wouldn't be the people we are today. Thank you for documenting our journey through photography, Cora!
