Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Senior Portraits of Grainger Grizzlies Softball Player, Brooklyn Copley! About Brooklyn: Brooklyn is a Senior at Grainger High School in Rutledge, Tennessee. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, is a BETA Club member, and plans on pursuing work in the medical field. Brooklyn has committed to play softball at Walters State. As a Freshman, Brooklyn was a Varsity starter before COVID ended the season early. Her Sophomore year, she earned District MVP and All-State. Brooklyn’s Junior Year, she broke her wrist in the 2nd week of the season. Despite the odds, Brooklyn overcame adversity earning All District while still leading the team in batting average! She was also named to multiple All tournament teams. Finally, Brooklyn’s Senior year is still being written in the books as she collects her final stats and awards for Grainger Grizzly Softball later this week. Best of luck! This travel team practices at the Field of Dreams in Dandridge, Tennessee, which made a great location to create some tough, smokey, low-key portraits inside their indoor facility. Photographing the 10u SWAT Softball Team was an absolute joy! Their talent and focus on the field translated perfectly in front of the camera, and we’re happy to showcase their skills! Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the 2023 Grainger Grizzlies Softball Team. It has certainly been a weird past couple of years for sports. With team sports back in full swing for this 2022-2023 school year, scheduling, photographing, and proofing team sports has been an absolute whirlwind. With that being said, we’re always happy to fit Grainger County High School into our schedule. The Lenz’s (us) greatly appreciate the support our small business has received from the community. This team session is a set of photographs that are overdue to hit the blog, however, it is not due to the lack of excitement on our part. We have been very eager to share these photographs the last few weeks. Lenz Photography is proud to present photos of the Tennessee Bombers 10 Gold Softball Team coached by Ben Williford. Fun fact: Coach Williford and Philip of Lenz Photography are actually Rutledge High School alumni and were the last graduating class of Rutledge before the new Grainger High School was built! The Tennessee Bombers are a travel team that regularly practices at the Grainger Grizzlies Softball Field. Lucky for us, the dark blue lockers correlated well with the Light Blue Bombers uniforms, and we were able to use Grainger’s indoor facilities for an Iconic Portrait session of the entire Tennessee Bombers Softball team! 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball

A couple months ago, Lenz had the privilege of showcasing the 2022 Washburn Pirates Basketball team and Cheer squad. Last but not least, we bring you the 2022 Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Teams. Again, Lenz has photographed these group of Senior Athletes since their Freshman year. The experience has been amazing following these athletes throughout their high school sports journey while getting to know many of their families. Those friendships are special to us, so we wanted to go above and beyond for their final group of Senior Sports Portraits. This is the first time Lenz has shot green screen to composite an entire team. It was a lot of work but the results turned out very rewarding! The Washburn Pirates background was created by combining multiple images from scratch. The kids and families chose their favorite poses, and we worked our magic! Hopefully you all enjoy these Washburn Pirates Baseball and Softball Portraits as much as we do, because we are in love with the way they turned out! Lenz Photography is proud to present portraits of Emma; Our first full Iconic Senior Session from Washburn High School! A quick word about the Washburn community: It doesn’t come as a surprise to many of you all who are reading this post that our Washburn and Grainger clients hold a special place in our hearts. Truly, without them our business would have never been able to survive through these past few years. Even when the baseball and softball season was cut short in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, many parents still contacted us and purchased prints via FaceTime. (And if you’ve ever tried to get signal in Washburn, you already know what a feat that was to overcome!) The fact that 2022 is our 4th full year photographing sports portraits for Washburn High School means that we have photographed most of the Washburn graduating class since they were freshman. Lenz Photography of Knoxville is proud to present the 8U and 12U Storm Softball Teams. We had a blast photographing these talented group of young athletes! Thanks to Carrie and Phillip for contacting Lenz to create some Iconic team and individual portraits in the amazing Storm training facility in Morristown. Both groups of girls were easy to work with and took direction very well. We even got a behind the scenes look at the Storm’s training from coach Ashley Gibson! We’re also pretty sure that Brayley is one of the first athletes that we’ve photographed from Bulls Gap! Brayley played softball and basketball for the Bulls Gap Lady Bulldogs. As of now, she doesn’t think that she is going to play sports in high school in order to focus on other things. Therefore, these portraits are a celebration of Brayley’s sports career up until this point. Brayley is certainly a talented young lady, and we’re sure she has the skills to compete again in the future if she decides on doing so.
