83 Iconic Portraits ft Washburn High School Pirates Basketball & Cheer 2023

Lenz Photography is proud to present 83 Iconic Portraits of the 2023 Washburn Pirates Basketball and Cheer Teams! This is the fifth year that we have photographed the athletes at WHS, but it is only the first year we have added the middle school and elementary teams into the mix (photos of Middle / Elementary Basketball and Dance teams coming soon)! We cannot say enough great things about the Washburn community. The experience is always great while photographing at Washburn, and the process keeps getting easier now that the students know what to expect on picture day. This year we have 11 Senior Athletes who we would like to take the time to celebrate their accomplishments; Braelyn, Kalynne, Paige, Gracie, Ethan, Blake, Ethan, Caden, Dillon, Kamryn, & Jace, Lenz Photography not only would like to thank you for your efforts on picture day, but for the hard work you put in on the court, on the field, and in the classroom. 75 Iconic Senior Portraits ft. Colby England of Morristown East High School

Lenz Photography is proud to present senior portraits of Colby, Morristown East High School Senior Class of 2023! Day 1 of Colby’s session was action packed! Photographically speaking, we got to check something off of our bucket list by photographing portraits of Colby with an airplane parked outside of the hangar! Super fly! Our goal for this set of images was to commemorate Colby’s outstanding efforts as part of the ROTC over the last 4 years. Last year, Colby served as the Vice Corp Commander. Colby is the current Color Guard Commander and is in the process of signing with the United States Air Force to go into Special Warfare. Colby has earned the Gold Valor Award, which is the highest honor awarded to a cadet. Gold Valor is only awarded to those who put their life on the line to help others in lethal danger. Colby already has a very impressive resume, but that’s just the half of it. Day 2 of Colby’s session was just as eventful as the first! 29 Iconic Portraits ft Gibbs Eagle Football Player, Mason

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic portraits of Mason. Mason is currently in 7th grade and plays for Gibbs Middle School Eagles Football. This is our first session of a Gibbs Middle School Football Player, and Mason set the bar high for any future athletes. One highlight from the session was being able to showcase Mason’s Wide Receiver abilities (and testing our timing) by capturing several mid-air, action shots. Although the Gibbs Football Field is currently under construction, we still had a large enough section of the field and end zone to use as a beautiful backdrop for Mason’s football session. 34 Iconic Portraits of Drag Racer Madi Turley

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic portraits of drag racer, Madi Turley! Madi has only been racing for 1 year, but she already has some remarkable achievements. For example, Madi received her NHRA Jr Street License at the age of 15. Last week, she received her NHRA ET 7 license. Although very few people hold more than one license at a time, Madi has set a goal of acquiring her third license by Spring of 2023. To celebrate her recent achievements, here is a set of portraits that we photographed of Madi on the drag strip with her signature Dodge Challenger. A few of these images of Madi will be featured as part of an article in the upcoming issue of Chrysler Power Magazine. Lenz had an amazing time collaborating with the Turley family. We truly feel like part of the family when we’re with them. It brings us a lot of joy seeing their success, as a family, pursuing such a thrilling passion. 12 Iconic Portraits ft the Grainger Grizzlies Golf Team

Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Portraits of the 2022 Grainger Grizzlies Golf Team! Grainger High School is back on the blog with another first this week! This is the first year we have had the opportunity to photograph the Grainger Grizzlies Golf Team, and they set the par for the course for our future golf portraits. Grainger County High School has a beautiful backdrop of mountains to shoot portraits against, and these athletes used it to the full potential. We were able to capture a variety of portraits including posed, action, and goofy shots of each player who participated in the session. Since school sports have kicked off for the 2022 season, our studio has been overwhelmed with the amount of teams and leagues that we have been contacted to photograph. We’re thankful for the love and especially thankful for the support that Grainger County shows our small business! Lenz Photography is proud to present Iconic Portraits of the 2022 Grainger Grizzlies Volleyball Team! If you’re a regular viewer of our sports portrait blogs, you know we like to keep track of our photography milestones. This is the first year we have had the opportunity to photograph the Grainger Grizzlies Volleyball Team. That means that this group of athletes will always be known as the GCHS Volleyball OG’s — or, shall we say the Original Grizzlies! (Tee-shirt idea?) Since school sports have kicked off for the 2022 season, our studio has been overwhelmed with the amount of teams and leagues that we have been contacted to photograph. This session was a first, because our school / team photo sessions are usually indoors. However, we got to photograph the cross country athletes outdoors on a bright, beautiful day with Clinch Mountain as the backdrop. The scenery near Washburn High School is some of the most beautiful around East Tennessee! We recently had the opportunity of photographing a creative session of Brady, accompanied by his cousin Logan, inside The Grizzly Den. We photographed several individual portraits, group portraits, action shots, locker room shots, and concluded with a few baseball portraits. Photographing sessions of Grainger Athletes is one of our favorites things to do.
