About the Session

Lenz Photography is proud to present 56 Iconic Senior Portraits ft Carson Newman University Graduate, Madison Harvey.

The Experience

As always, we had a blast photographing Madison! We began photographing her portraits about an hour before the golden hour, and we continued until it was dark. This produced a variety of different looks for her College Senior Portrait Session.

If you’ve followed along on our social media, then you know that we have photographed Madison several years now. We first photographed her as a freshman athlete at Washburn High School. We also photographed her for cheer, softball, and two proms. Now, we have “almost” come full circle after photographing her college senior portraits.

Madison is a Class of 2025 graduate of Carson Newman University. Some of her college accolades and accomplishments are as follows:

Madison is a 1st generation college graduate. She graduated with a 4.0 gpa and was the recipient of the CNU President Academic Excellence Award, as well as, a Bonner scholar. Madison is a licensed SLPA and Special Education teacher who has achieved 2,500+ nonprofit volunteer service hours. Madison is currently enrolled at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she will attend graduate school for Speech – Language Pathology.

The Vision

As a photographer, photographing someone on multiple occasions makes you want to provide a unique experience each time. When brainstorming for this session, we knew we wanted to show multiple locations on campus that were significant to Madison during her time at Carson Newman University. We began photographing on Henderson Lawn near the iconic Carson Newman pillars and the Eagle statue. We photographed several bright, casual portraits in this location. After Henderson lawn, we made our way down to Mossy Creek where we photographed several portraits by the water during the sweetest part of the golden hour. Lastly, we made our way back up to Swann Hall to capture a few more portraits during our last bit of light in the sky. But wait, there’s more! Remember the theme of “coming full circle?” We just couldn’t stop photographing until we made our way back to the columns and Eagle statue for one last look.

The Final Product

We have so many great shots from Madison’s College Senior Session. We just can’t brag on her enough. Madison is a genuinely sweet girl and a very hard worker. We happy to congratulate her on completing this chapter of her life. We look forward to celebrating more successes with her and her family in the future!
